Partakers Of The Second Death.

The continual fulfillment of the word of God in the life of God’s Elect.

The word of God constantly repeats itself on many doctrinal issues for our edification and benefit. When these repeated topics or verses are not comprehended or understood by the reader, then it may appear as vain repetitions leading to weariness, a stumbling block for the reader.

Many times in Scripture, we are warned and told of how we should ‘take heed’ unto ourselves. Even in the most trying times when we are wronged, our response in such a situation is to first examine ourselves, not the opposition or the adversary, but as it is written;

Luk 17:3 Take heed to yourselves:If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

Not only in moments of trials but when we are learning and studying any topic, or being corrected for our wrong, we must take heed in not only what we can spiritually hear, but how we hear it.

Mar 4:24 And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.

Luk 8:18 Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.

In what spirit and how we hear any word of scripture is pivotal to understanding and believing its present fulfillment in our lives.

The application of “taking heed unto thyself” is of utmost importance when we come across some things that appear very hard to understand. When we do not heed to this warning to look and apply the word of God inwardly first and foremost, the result can be a fall from our own steadfastness and being stunted in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2Pe 1:5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
2Pe 1:6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
2Pe 1:7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
2Pe 1:8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2Pe 1:9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
2Pe 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

One such stumbling block to babes in Christ and even to those who have tasted the heavenly gift, tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, is the inward fulfillment and application of EVERY jot and tittle of the word of God, in this age.

Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

While some claim that they are the elect of God and say in their heart that they will not go through the indignation and wrath of God, their own mouth witnesses against them in that they do not understand the meaning of election according to the mind of Christ. To him that understands, being chosen first of God is nothing more than being the first to receive all the good of the Spirit of God,after being imputed in sin in the flesh and that flesh is put through a destructive process to finally obtain the image of God. The elect are the first to be conformed into the express image of Christthrough the consuming fire that destroys and is wrathful to all Flesh.

God has no pleasure in our idle praises, vain worship and feigned love when our hearts are so far away from His Word. Those who claim they love God have many church adages and religious sayings such as “God is good, all the time”, “Praise God”, “Blessed be Jesus” while at the same time have no place in them for His Word. The Lord would rather have our obedience and the fulfillment of His word in us. Only then will all such praises from our lips be to His glory.

Mat 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
Mat 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Luk 11:27 And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked. [This is honoring with the lips…]
Luk 11:28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, [From Genesis 1:1 to Rev 21:22] and keep it [To the last jot and tittle]

Only a foolish Spirit of a strange woman will claim to want all the good at the hand of God, but will not receive the wrath that serves to burn off all the flesh, to bring forth the pure gold, the vessel unto honour, sanctified and meet for the master’s use.

Job 2:10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

Whether the faith to believe that God will put all through his indignation and wrath is given at this time or not, the Lord will nevertheless, in due time, search out such complacent ones with His candles, and punish such minds of men with the sword, to make a speedy riddance to such an attitude.

Zep 1:12 And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil.

Amo 9:9 For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all the nations, like as grain is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least kernel fall upon the earth.
Amo 9:10 All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, who say, The evil shall not overtake nor meet us. [ASV]

It is the most natural thing to see something that is not pleasant or is evil to our flesh in the Scripture, and straightaway our carnal mind imputes that ‘evil’ thing to our sinful neighbor and other inhabitants of the land. The most pre-eminent excuses often used as an exemption from such seemingly evil things are “We have Abraham as our Father” or “We are Abraham’s seed”, or ‘the blood of Christ has been shed for me, that does not apply to me’. A larger group of men which we were part of in times past has the evading tactics of ‘I am saved already’! Those that are more confident in themselves as a guide to the blind, a light to those in darkness, an instructor of the foolish and a teacher of babes, separate the word of God and make it of none effect in them, with the false reasoning of saying “I am God’s elect, this verse may apply to me, but how can you say I will live by that verse also”?

Rom 2:19 And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,
Rom 2:20 An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.


All of God’s elect are in all things and are nothing more or less than partakers of all that is written in the word of God. Jesus Christ himself, in the days of his flesh, partook of the same as the children.

Jesus Christ, the First and the Last, partakes first of all of the word of the Father. The elect of Christ of all ages and generations is not greater than the Lord. If we regard Christ as our Lord, then he has given his true servants an example to follow, which is Himself. It is enough that we be as Jesus Christ, as He is, so we should be in this present age.

Joh 17:8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

Mat 10:24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
Mat 10:25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

1Pe 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

1Jn 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.


It is a great vanity and feigned love saying with the tongue “I want to be like Jesus”, without wanting to drink His cup or partake of His word. Jesus Christ himself first partook of flesh and blood, as an example of what we will partake of, before He was raised to life with a perfected celestial body (1Co 15:40).

1Co 15:45 So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

Did the Lord partake of only “the last”?

Isa 41:4 Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he.

Isa 44:6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

Rev 1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as one dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying, Fear not; I am the first and the last,

Rev 2:8 And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: These things saith the first and the last, who was dead, and lived again:

Rev 22:13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.

The first is the same person as He who was dead, who is the Beginning. The last is the same person who is now alive, who is the End of all things of the flesh.

Mat 20:16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

How can this seeming contradiction be so? How can He and we partake of ALL that is written? How can the last be first and the first last? The scripture answers this….

1Co 15:46 Howbeit that is not first which is spiritual [The Last …. He who is now alive… who is the End.] but that which is natural; […He who was dead by being in a body of death, in flesh and blood as an example to us, the beginning, Christ in the days of his Flesh] then that which is spiritual.

Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil

Not only did Christ himself partake of all things, this day it is His Christ, His kind of first fruit, His anointed, His chosen, which He is dragging out of the world, scripturally all one and the same as his Elect, the Body of Christ. They are now partaking of every word including the jots and tittles in the word of God.

The word of God is Christ himself. For fear of the letters, it is easy to see why those who do not understand the sum of God’s word, cannot see the application and fulfillment of words such as “Wrath” and “Second death” in their lives at any time.

Mat 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word ….was…God.

Rev 19:12 And his eyes are a flame of fire, and upon his head are many diadems; and he hath a name written which no one knoweth but he himself.
Rev 19:13 And he is arrayed in a garment sprinkled with blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

The revelation and fulfillment of each spiritual word, tasting “this that is written”, tasting the Lord, partaking of each spiritual jot and tittle, first takes place in the lives of the Elect of God with Jesus Christ himself being the Chief corner stone, chief elect of the Father.


Luk 22:37 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.

“This that is written”, “concerning me” is the events being accomplished in the body of Christ, his flesh, then and now. These events include being spiritually scourged, spat upon, beaten up to the point of death, and eventually a crucifixion lasting six hours before giving up the breath. This is the Lord’s death as a typified example to us. We are not greater than our Lord, and if these things that are written concern Christ, then of necessity it is of a great concern to any man that be in Christ.

The Lord himself identifies with the natural man who does not want to go through the wrath and the application of the second death in his or her life. The unconverted Peter is typical of such a mind that does not want to drink this cup of fury of the Father. Such a natural mind takes delight in approaching God to say “Lord Lord”, but at this time of their walk, the sum of the Lord’s word and the act of the disciples indeed is of no concern to them and has no place in their hearts.

Mat 16:21 From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.
Mat 16:22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. [Which is the same spirit in those today saying, “what do you mean you have to suffer…wrath? What do you mean ‘second death’ concerns me now’?]
Mat 16:23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

The natural man hates the savor, flavor and fragrance of the true knowledge of God. The content in the cup giving off that savor is the New Testament in the blood of Christ, the Word of God shed for you and me.

Luk 22:17 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves: …

Luk 22:20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

Christ had the same natural body as the children. So, did his flesh want to naturally drink of the Cup of fury of the Father, though it was only for a “small moment” in a “little wrath”?

Luk 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that ALL THINGS MUST BE FULFILLED, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Which “all things must be fulfilled”…”in the prophets” …”concerning me”?

Isa 54:7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.

Isa 54:8 In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.

Luk 22:41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,
Luk 22:42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me [though the Lord himself said earlier “This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you”]nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
Luk 22:43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
Luk 22:44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

Mat 26:37 And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.
Mat 26:38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.
Mat 26:39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me [the cup brings forth SORROW unto DEATH to the flesh] nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

It is partaking of this cup that qualifies “any man to be in Christ” (2Co 5:17).

2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

1Co 11:25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as often as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
1Co 11:26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup [what does it all mean to our flesh?] ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.

How often is “as often”?

Luk 11:3 Give us day by day our daily bread [….and Cup! ]

We will all partake of this cup in the New Testament, even they that presently refuse and say it is of no “concern” to me; in due time, they shall certainly drink of it. The means by which any man will enter and partake of this New Testament is the same way Christ drank of it as an example to all: through death.

Heb 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, […all men’s transgressions, for all have sinned] they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

According to the order the Father has decreed, starting with the body of Christ, each particular member of that body partakes of this death.

1 Co 10:17 For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread. [….and that “Cup”, of “the Lord’s death”. ]
1Co 9:23 And this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.

1Pe 5:1 The elders which are among you I exhort, who amalso an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:

Col 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

Heb 3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, […the FIRST and the LAST..] if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

In due time…the spiritual Gentiles, who are the uncalled and the many called but yet unchosen, that currently do not know God (1Th 4:5) will also be partakers of Christ. All will partake, not one crumb in Adam will be forsaken, eternally banished and expelled from partaking of every jot and tittle of the good news of Jesus Christ.

1Th 4:5 Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:

Eph 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

Heb 12:8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

2Pe 1:4 whereby he hath granted unto us his precious and exceeding great promises; that through these ye may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in that world by lust.

We have all been guilty after saying the 10-second sinner’s prayer of imputing the exceeding great divine promises and rewards of God unto ourselves, and dispensing the most hideous of punishment, wrath, indignation and words that our natural, earthy and sensual minds do not understand unto our ‘evil neighbors’, unto the ‘children of disobedience’ out there somewhere at sometime in the future.

Some noble followers of Christ may be unclear how certain words, such as ‘Wrath’ and ‘Second death’ is currently being fulfilled, but the discrepancy in our understanding must be searched out with all readiness of mind.

There is a tendency to point fingers at others for such and such words to apply to them, and be fulfilled at a later time in them, and yet we forget to acknowledge the filling up of that particular word in our flesh now, to “take heed unto thyself’. ‘Behold, thou art the man’ and to ‘first remove the plank in our own eyes.’

1Ti 4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

2Sa 12:7 And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;

Mat 7:3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
’s flesh in Adam] and lo, the beam is in thine own eye?
Mat 7:5 Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

Some of us have cast out the false doctrine that only sinners will go through God’s wrath because they have first been brought to acknowledge in their heart that they are the chief of sinners. The flame of God’s word is now tormenting their flesh to forsake all unrighteousness and to live in the Spirit. We must continue to dwell in that flame and continue to take away the “putting forth of the finger”, the self-righteous self-exalting attitude of “I am not as other men are”, when we come across another spiritual phrase, the “second death“.

Luk 18:9 And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, [‘I am God’s Elect, of the seed of Abraham, I am a saved Christian”, “I have never blaspheme God” attitude etc.] and despised others
Luk 18:10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
Luk 18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
Luk 18:12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
Luk 18:13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
Luk 18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Isa 58:9 Then shalt thou call, and Jehovah will answer; thou shalt cry, and he will say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger[‘such and such people will experience wrath and the second death, not me’] and speaking wickedly;


There are only four verses in Scripture that mention the “second death”. These verses, when examined very closely, can themselves answer any questions that may arise regarding who partakes of the second death. These verses to the natural mind are impossible to comprehend, and are “hard to be understood” (2Pe 3:16) even to those that are as the more noble Bereans (Act 17:10-11). The words that are being used, especially in these verses, are not words taught by human wisdom, thus it is of no profit or spiritual impact when approached with natural logic.

The book of Revelation has been studied in great depth examining each verse and each chapter of the book. At the start of each study, we were reminded who the book of Revelation is written to and what must be done with it. We are told twice:

1. Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keepthose things which are written therein: [Why, Lord?]forthe time is at hand.

2. Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the wordsof the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, [“wrath” of the Lamb, ‘wine of the wrath of Almighty God’, the Second death] God shall take away his partout of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

The book is written to the intent to BLESS.
The book is written and addressed to “they that HEAR”.
The book is written to be kept by those to whom it is addressed.
The keeping of “those things which are written therein’ was and is NOT in some distant PAST or FUTURE, but “the time is at hand” to ‘whoso readeth’.

Since we serve a living God, it should be no great mystery to them that understand that God’s word has a living, active and current application as they are brought to comprehend its two-edged meaning.

Heb 4:12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart [English Standard version]

Every word of Christ is given to His Elect to fulfill in this present age that no JOT (Greek: iota) or TITTLE (Hebrew: yoda) is to go unfulfilled.

Col 1:25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you to fulfil the word of God;

Can one go from a heart of stone straight to the perfect heart of the Lord, our Bread, from Alpha to Omega, from cold to hot, from the beginning to the end, from Genesis to Revelation with absolutely nothing in between? How can you turn hearts of stone to the mind of Christ? Who better to ask? How can this be done, Lord?

Mat 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

What does “Every word” really mean?

Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.>
Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Jesus Christ came to fulfill the law. Where will He be fulfilling all this? Where will Christ be filling up His words and making it come to pass?

Col 1:24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:

2Co 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

It is not twisting the word of God to say that by seeing the revelation of Jesus Christ within you, you prove to yourself that you are not a reprobate.

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that [the revelation of…] Jesus Christ [Rev 1:1 – Rev 22::21] in you, except ye be reprobates?

Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

This is strong meat for many to think that all that is in the book of Revelation of Jesus Christ is in them, still to be manifested to them. The Spirit of God is manifest to us through His Word, which is one and the same. (Joh 6:63) Nevertheless, this doctrine is the great secret, the signified mystery of the Scripture, which is Christ in you.

Mat 13:35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

We of our own selves can do nothing. The Father has given the only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to first fulfill His Word in those few “first fruits” he has chosen in every generation. The Word is to be kept when “the time is at hand”. From the two examples below, the Scripture makes it even clearer what “the time is at hand” means to those given sight.

Behold what the Lord says in both examples:

1) Mat 26:14 Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests,
Mat 26:15 And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.
Mat 26:16 And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.
Mat 26:17 Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover?
Mat 26:18 And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples.

From that time”….”My time is at hand”. What was at hand? Was the Lord referring to thousands of physical years later? Not at all….

Mat 26:21 And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.

The betrayer “from that time sought opportunity to betray Christ”. So when Christ uttered, “My time is at hand”, the betraying process was already rolling, not just consigned to the future.

2) Mat 26:44 And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.
Mat 26:45 Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
Mat 26:46 Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me.

The Lord was not betrayed into the ‘hands of sinners’ thousands of years after saying to his disciples, “the hour is at hand”. Nor did his betrayer, Judas Iscariot, appear at the end of the physical time/age. To the mind of Christ, “is at hand” literally means it is now, it is ongoing. The time is now for the event to be revealed because the very next verse is…

Mat 26:47 And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude [verse 45 “the hands of sinners”] with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people.
Mat 26:48 Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast.

The same parabolic, signified tongue of Scripture is used here:

Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

“Those things which are written therein” is all part of the revelation of Jesus Christ, whose name is the Word of God. The blessing is to he that reads, hears and keeps the words; words such as “the seals”… “the 7 plagues”… “war in heaven”… “the two witnesses”… “wrath of the Lamb” … “the fall of Babylon,”… “white throne judgment”… “second death” … and the rewards from the Spirit. Many with the spirit of a “foolish woman” are quick to name it and claim all the rewards in the Scripture/book of Revelation and omit what does not line up with their doctrinal idols of the heart, as we all did when we were under the doctrines of men with flattering titles. Those that are still being held servants in the oldness of the letters will not comprehend at this time what keeping “every word” and “one jot and tittle will by no means pass from the law till all be fulfilled” is all about.

The topic we will be examining in closer detail is who partakes of this particular word “second death” and in whom is it fulfilled. To those that understand, it should already be clear that it is an ongoing event within them. The word of God will now show to those being caused to serve in newness of the Spirit, how this “second death” “must shortly come to pass” and “shortly be done” within them. It is a “must”, not maybe.


Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

Rev 22:6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.

It is essential to keep in mind what is being shown by God’s messenger in the letters – signified words that must be interpreted – or else the veil will remain in our heart and we will remain blind to the thoughts and intent of the Lord.

2Co 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

Pro 1:6 To understand a proverb, [the letters] and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.

We will let the Scriptures themselves put some light on these four dark sayings in the book of Revelation.

1) Rev 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Rev 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

2) Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived notagain until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Rev 20: 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

3) Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

4) Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. 

All the verses above are to be fulfilled in our heart and first in the lives of God’s elect. A closer examination of Rev 2:11 and Rev 21:8 can reveal to us who is to be a partaker, “hath part”… “their part”… and be hurt of the wrathful process that is the second death and who is not hurt by the second death. First of all, the scriptural definition of “the second death”, just like many hard to understand words in Scripture, is given to us in a scriptural phrase of “this is …”

Joh 6:28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? [A very good question]
Joh 6:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Joh 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

When the Scripture (Christ the word) answers Himself and defines His own words using powerful jots and tittles like “this is”, it will profit us a great deal to keep that definition of the second death throughout the scripture, and the book of Revelation is no exception.

Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This isthe

second death.

Please see the paper on the milk doctrine of “Aionian Judgment” that further clarifies where death and hell are to be found, contrary to the doctrines of men and many false prophets in the world.

So the destruction, the slaying of “death and hell”, is the second death. We are told who this will not hurt: He that OVERCOMETH! Who could that be?

Rev 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

There is only one overcomer that CANNOT be hurt of the second death, and there is only ONE man within you and I that will not overcome and “shall be hurt of the second death, slain and destroyed, when “the time is at hand”.

First of all, let us remind ourselves what we must overcome, what we must have dominion over and conquer within us, according to the Scripture.


Rom 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign [overcome you] in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
Rom 6:13 Neither yield ye your members asinstruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members asinstruments of righteousness unto God.
Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: [overcome you…why Paul?]for ye are not under the law […of sin and death, Rom 8:1] but under grace.

Psa 19:12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults. Psa 19:13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins let them not have dominion over me: [overcome you and me…] thenshall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.

Psa 119:133 Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. [overcome me]

Paulsummarizes all the above….

Rom 12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Peter expounds more to us….

2Pe 2:19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
2Pe 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

John, who was inspired to write those verses in the book of Revelation, reveals in his epistles, using different signified words, what must be overcome within us.

1Jn 2:13 I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father.
1Jn 2:14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.

Who is the apostle John referring to as the “wicked one” and where is this “wicked one”?

1Jn 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
1Jn 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
1Jn 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
1Jn 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: [“many false prophets”, “that spirit of antichrist”, how?…] because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

The Old Testament also revealed “the wicked one”…

Psa 109:6 Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.

Christ revealed who we must overcome and where…

Mat 13:19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

The wicked one is…

Mar 4:15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

Luk 8:12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

Paul revealed to us where the wicked one that we must overcome dwells…

2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2Th 2:4  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God…
2Th 2:8  And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

A quick summary of what must be overcome and destroyed: Sin, iniquity, spirit of antichrist, evil, pollutions of the world, many false prophets, the wicked one, the old serpent which is the Devil, called Satan, idols of the heart, the beast, etc… all summarized by John as “the world” that must be overcome.

1Jn 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the worldeven our faith.
1Jn 5:5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

The non-overcomer is the old man of sin, the flesh and blood resident in you and I, whose mind and habitation is the earth, the world. This is the earthly righteousness, the ‘sea’, wickedness and the fleshly ‘goodness’ that is as ‘grass’ within us all.

Rev 7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the treestill we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. [… then begins the ‘hurting process’ of the earth, sea and trees within, “the end is destruction.”]

Php 3:19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

Jas 3:15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

Isa 57:20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.

Isa 40:6 The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:
Isa 40:7 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.

Rev 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

These things are and will be hurt of the second death, the burning up process of the wages of all sin and trespasses.

It is vital at this stage to note that the second death is not to be seen or understood as the natural man wants to see and comprehend it – in Chronological order. THIS IS THE ERROR AND THE VEIL THAT BLINDS MANY. It is not a chronological second death within you, but rather the means that LIFE of the Spirit comes through DEATH. Contrary to the understanding of babes in Christ, it is not just the apostle John that talks about the second death. Though he is the only one that uses the letter “second death”, this profits nothing if it is not comprehended in the same unity and harmony that the other writers of the New Testament use the word “death”.

These words are “dark sayings”, “parables” “Spirit”, “hidden wisdom”, “signified” words that are being uttered, which just blinds and keeps the natural mind in a state of darkness and spiritual void. No man can know and understand this tongue except the little flock to whom God is revealing it.

Psa 78:1 Maschil of Asaph. Give ear, O my people, to my law: incline your ears to the words of my mouth.
Psa 78:2 I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:

Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Mat 13:34 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:
Mat 13:35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret  [Greek: mysteries]from the foundation of the world[e.g. the ongoing fulfillment of the wrath of the Lamb and the second death]

1Co 14:2 For he that speaketh in an [the word “unknown” is NOT in the original Scripture] tongue [which is Spirit, parables, dark sayings of Scripture only] speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he [Jesus Christ in all the prophets and apostles] speaketh mysteries.

Here is the apostle Paul telling us what speaking in a tongue is; it is hidden wisdom, not gibberish garbage.

1Co 2:6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
1Co 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mysteryeven the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

1Pe 1:11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify[…in dark sayings, Parables!] when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

There is no scriptural letter saying “first death”. Rather it is written “I die daily”, “the outward man perishing”, which is spiritually the same as the second deadly wound which eventually brings total death to the inward secret sins / evil to the outward/natural/old man within you and I. The apostle John was not going above that which is written in writing the words “second death” or “lake of fire”, which are not in any of the Old Testament or other New Testament writings. The same can be said of all the New Testament writers who mention that the promise of God is “eternal life”, which the literal letter is not to be found in the Old Testament. They are not in any violation of going above that Old Testament Scripture and the four gospels that were delivered to them to build the rest of the New Testament books. (Acts – Revelation)

1Co 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received[The Old Testament and the four gospels] how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

1Co 4:6 And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think above that which is written, [The Old Testament and the four gospels at the time] that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.

The word “lake of fire”, “second death” is built upon all the understanding that the apostles derived from the Old Testament. It is not a new doctrinal word one must live by in the future sometime, but an old word that was from the beginning, as written by the apostle who first wrote “lake of fire”, “second death”.

1Jn 2:7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.

The apostle John says he writes “no new commandment unto you”, but an old commandment, “which ye had from the beginning.” What is often missed in understanding the fulfillment of the word of Scripture is that words such as the second death and wrath and other hard to understand scriptural letters were NOT new to God’s apostles. Most importantly, it was not intended or broken down to specific time periods, neither were they writing about future events. They were writing about the “one event” that is and will be common to all men. (Ecc 9:2) It is a commandment and inspiration of the Lord that they write only about the things that are, was and will be, and not to go above the foundation that is Christ Himself. It should be no great marvel that John was not writing about the lake of fire / second death events in some future, but rather, the things HE SAW.

Rev 1:2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things […The book of Revelation 1:1-22:21…which includes words such as “the seals”…“the 7 plagues” …“war in heaven”… “the two witnesses”… “wrath of the Lamb… “the beast from the sea and earth”… “the fall of Babylon,”… “white throne judgment”… “second death… and the rewards from the Spirit.that he saw.

Rev 1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, [all you are reading in Scripture has already been, and is, and will be]………..write in a book,[which is called the Book of Revelation, Rev 1:1-22:21] and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

All the things that John and the others saw and wrote are when “the time is at hand”. They certainly were not anxious about the future and giving the generations to come an insight into events they themselves had not experienced or had been fulfilled in them.

Mat 6:34 Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. [English Standard Version]

Therefore the Lord inspired so that they wrote only what they saw, which is and what will be. Events of the book of Revelation, such as the fall of Babylon, war in heaven and second death, etc. are not confined to the future, but in whomsoever the Lord is fulfilling it in, whose time is at hand.

Ecc 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; [e.g. second death] and that which is done [the casting of Death and Hell, the devil, the beast, the false prophet and all works of the flesh into the lake of fire, which is the second death now in God’s elect…] is that which shall be done: [in non-elect / non first fruit group] and there is no new thing under the sun.

Ecc 3:15 That which hath been is now[The second death IS being fulfilled in God’s elect] and that which is to be [e.g. WILL BE – second death event] hath already been[WAS in God’s Elect of generations past] and God requireth that which is past.

So how could all this be? What were John / Paul / Peter told to write? We need not guess and speculate…

1Co 14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

Rev 1:19 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;

The natural man within us may start breaking different parts of the book / verses to different people, saying the things that we fulfill now are not what shall be, but such a one should remember what we are told by the Lord;

Joh 10:35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

There it is! The Scripture CANNOT be broken and partitioned into separate parts and verses for separate people! The Word of God is one, and once it comes to us, the sum of it with all jots and tittles is to be fulfilled with no crumbs left. The things the apostles saw and heard are the things that are written for us to keep that our joy may be full.

Act 4:19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
Act 4:20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.

1Jn 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
1Jn 1:4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
1Jn 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

How could Peter and John have “seen and heard” all these things they wrote in their epistles and Book of Revelation? It is only through the Spirit that was fulfilling the word in them, thereby they declare unto us…

Rev 1:19 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;

Jesus Christ speaking to Paul at the beginning of his conversion.

Act 26:15 And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.
Act 26:16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and ofthose things in the which I will appear unto thee;

Paul confesses that even the hard to understand things in his epistles are not above what is already written and what others have read before.

1Co 4:6 And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.

2Co 1:13 For we […the apostles…] write none other things unto youthan what ye read or acknowledge; and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end;


The second death is intended to inflict such a deadly wound, stripes according to our deeds in the inward parts of the belly, the heart of man, to cleanse away the evil and through that to overcome all the evil that is in the world in us.

Rom 7:17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Rom 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: [100% evil by marred nature] for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
Rom 7:19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
Rom 7:20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Rom 7:21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
Rom 7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

Pro 20:30 The blueness of a wound cleanseth away evil: so do stripes the inward parts of the belly.

We are not talking just mere outward, brazenly obvious physical sins naked to the physical eyes. Even the Gentiles that do not know God and Christ do by nature some things contained in the law. Not all commit physical adultery, or are physical drunkards or murderers or physical blasphemers. Even those that are once struck with the Sword of the word of God can quickly make many strides in their personal lives, receiving a deadly wound, giving up all kinds of outward trespasses and sins. But as Peter and the rest of the apostles were before Pentecost arrived, this wound is healed and they are yet to be converted to the Spirit. Nevertheless, the second death is that event such as not been since the beginning of the world in us and nor shall ever be, what finally brings about the death of the root of sin resident within the heart of Men. It is not the earth, the world out there that needs be overcome. That does not defile anyone. What needs to be overcome is the world, the earthy,within you and I.

Mar 7:18 And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from […the world…] without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;
Mar 7:19 Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?
Mar 7:20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.
Mar 7:21 For from withinout of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
Mar 7:22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
Mar 7:23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

1Jn 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Gal 1:4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

Mat 24:21  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Psa 19:12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.
Psa 19:13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.

These secrets, presumptuous sins are what treasures up the wrath of God within our hearts until the day of wrath is revealed in our lives.

Psa 90:8 Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.
Psa 90:9 For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.

Rom 2:5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;


Rev 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

The risen Christ is the only overcomer who is now not hurt and cannot be hurt of the second death. How can this be? How can the risen Christ not be hurt of the lake that burns with fire and brimstone – which is the second death?

We need not go above what is written…

Joh 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than CONQUERORS through HIM that loved us.

Rev 6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and HE that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and HE went forth conquering, and to conquer.

Rev 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

Jesus Christ himself is not and can no longer be hurt by the second death, because he already died once completely, in fullness, to the flesh, as a Lamb, thus overcoming death, sin and all that is in the world resident in His flesh, through his death.

Col 1:22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Heb 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

Jesus Christ is now freed from all the sin of the world he bore in his flesh.

2Co 5:21 For he [God the Father] hath made him sin for us, [thus He is liable to succumb to temptations but…] who knew no sin; [OVERCAME SIN by not succumbing to the pulls of the flesh.] that we might be made the righteousness of God [ when?…it is only when we are dragged, cast…] in him.

Isa 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

1Pe 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Having now died through the death of the Cross…

Php 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

…and raised to Life of the Spirit, resurrected by the glory of the Father, “death” which is the scriptural code/signification for the carnal mind, hatred, evil, corruption, error of our ways, darkness, flesh and blood and all things of this realm, of this world, all contained in vessels called “a body of sin,” “a body of death” now no longer has any temptation / power / hurt / or “dominion” over Jesus Christ.

Death” is defined in Scripture as:

Pro 21:16 The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.

The church of Sardis illustrates this step of death to be fulfilled within us.

Rev 3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, […as a Christian, a disciple of Christ but spiritually…] and art dead.

Rom 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Jas 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sinand sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

Jas 5:20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

1Jn 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

“Death” is enclosed in a vessel of death, in a realm of corruption and wickedness called Hell, (Greek: Hades and Hebrew: Sheol) where all men are spiritually first held in sleep.

Psa 18:4 The sorrows of death compassed me, [which is…] and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.
Psa 18:5 The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me.

“The sorrows of death”, “the sorrows of hell”…who and what are these?

Psa 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into helland all the nations that forget God.Psa 139:8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.Rom 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

Jesus Christ overcame this death realm, His body of sin/death by dying to it. This is how dominion is attained over all that is in death.

Rom 6:7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
Rom 6:8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
Rom 6:9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
Rom 6:10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

THERE IT IS! Death has no more dominion and Christ CANNOT die, return to corruption any more.

Rev 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

Joh 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me. [Why?…] 

Joh 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Act 13:33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.
Act 13:34 And as concerning that he raised him up [Raising up is overcoming] from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, [can “not be hurt of the second death.”] he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.

Now Christ has overcome death, no more to return to corruption, therefore cannot be hurt again and go through the weeping and gnashing of teeth. The next stage is:


Joh 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Joh 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you,[…in the Flesh] and shall be in you. […in the Spirit.] 
Joh 14:18 I [the comforter] will not leave you comfortless:[…because..?] I will come to you.

When Christ chooses one out of the world as His Elect, conversion into the Spirit is an age-lasting process, not an instantaneous event. A measure of Christ is given to each man, according to the gift of Christ. That measure of the Spirit of Christ is the down payment of Christ, the Spirit of truth, of Grace.

2Co 1:21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
2Co 1:22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

2Co 5:5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Eph 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Eph 4:7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Grace within the heart of the few chosen at this time serves this purpose, to OVERCOME THE FLESH, THE DEVIL AND ITS WORK = THE WORLD.

Tit 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Tit 2:12 Teaching [Greek: Chastening] us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

The Spirit of Christ now comes into the Heart of His chosen…

Gal 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

…to overcome all that is the world within their heart, the lust of the Flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of Life. The Form of that Spirit is as a flame of Fire!

2Th 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
2Th 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
2Th 1:9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
2Th 1:10 When he [the OVERCOMER] shall come to be glorified [where will all this be taking place and being fulfilled…?]  in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe(because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord [the overcomer in his saints, in all them that believe appearing in flaming fire…] shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

Who is now “hurt”, “weeping and gnashing” of teeth because of this “flaming fire” “with age-lasting destruction”? It is the Flesh, and all ungodly passions and worldly lust within “his saints”…“all them that believe”. What is hurting is signified as “the rest of the dead” within “his saints”, “in all them that believe”, hurting “the things… that are ready to die” within them. This is an inner man, deep operation of the great Physician within the Saints. He who has ears to hear knows the things that still need to die in their lives. Christ will manifest it to each one of us at His time and deal within it as a physician. The Physician has come to perform a major surgery to remove dead flesh within his sick patients, those that acknowledge that they are spiritually sick and need healing, His Saints. At this time, we do not concern ourselves with the outwardly dead men of the world, but behold what is within ourselves.

Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Rev 3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
Rev 3:2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.

The Old and New Testament reveals to us what qualifies one as being “dead”.

It is written as the “rest of the dead” because Christ Himself as the first elect was the first to be dead… of necessity the first born from the dead.

1Co 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
1Co 15:21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. [even over death and who gets to experience and “taste” it] 

Rev 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Rev 2:8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;

We are also dead when…

Pro 21:16 The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.

… we had zero understanding and comprehension of the Word of God, and were assembled with spiritually dead men. As saints and them that believe (2Th 1:10) there are still parts and facets of our lives that, like the seven churches, are still lacking in the good works of the Lord, and repentance from the deeds of the flesh is pending. These areas of our lives are “the rest of the dead”, which we must examine ourselves as we look at the man or woman in the mirror. Through the second death, death (which is all carnality and enmity against God) must be destroyed in our hearts.

Eph 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
Eph 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:[The Spirit of he that has the power of Death, the devil.]
Eph 2:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
Eph 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
Eph 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

The quickening, being brought to spiritual life, is a daily process.

Col 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

1Ti 5:6 But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.

“Liveth in pleasure” is… Luk 8:14  And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.

Gen 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die[Hebrew: dying you shall die]

Rom 8:12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
Rom 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh[“for in the day that thou eatest threof”; “pleasures of this life”ye shall die: [dying you shall die….] but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, [through Godly wrath / the second death] ye shall live.

So the rest of the dead in us is the part of our lives when we continue to live after the flesh, sinning after receiving the knowledge of the truth. An example of this is the fiery judgment the apostle Paul brought on Peter, Barnabas and other Jews as they played the hypocrite in withdrawing and separating themselves from the Gentiles (Galatians 2). Even though Peter had knowledge that Christ is bringing a reformation, the word of Fire out of Paul’s mouth instantly judged Peter and the rest, bringing them in line with the truth of the gospel.

Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, […because of the rest of the dead, rest of carnality such as hypocrisy in us] there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
Heb 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation[lake of fire and brimstone, which is the second death] which shall devour the adversaries.

The adversaries that will be devoured by fiery indignation are these:

Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Christ himself is now come to destroy “the rest of the dead”, or another scripture used to explain the same thing is Christ has come to “Put away sin by the sacrifice of ‘himself’”, the rest of His Body of flesh, His Christ.

Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Heb 10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body [of his Elect, His Christ,] hast thou prepared me[a body prepared for the Spirit of Christ now]

Heb 9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but NOW once in the end of the world hath HE [The risen Jesus Christ in you, the earnest of the Spirit of Christ in your heart presently] APPEARED [in flaming fire as the Spirit of truth, His word as fire…Jer 5:14, 23:29] to put away sin by the sacrifice of HIMSELF!

His own flesh, which was made sinful flesh and blood and the remnant of the flesh in His Elect, is that body of Sin today to be cast in the fire of His Word.

Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Heb 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many[this is Christ in sinful flesh, same body as the children, Flesh & Blood, body of death, now His Elect in this day] and unto them that look for him [His saints, them that believe) shall HE APPEAR the second time without sin […appear to do what? It is to destroy and sacrifice HIMSELF, the body of Sin…]unto salvation.

Heb 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Our old man, (not some sinner somewhere else), typified as the flesh of Christ is “we” that is to be put away, destroyed…

Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. [SALVATION]

This true blessing comes now as the “time is at hand”. It is through this destructive process that all true blessings of the Spirit come.

Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Act 3:26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus[NOW the Overcomer, the conqueror of all flesh] sent him […in flaming fire…] to bless you[This is the greatest blessing of God to all men in their order…] in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.


Rev 20:5 But the REST OF THE DEAD lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, [these evil works are all within the heart of men, within the flesh – Rom 7:18-21] shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

All the carnality, ways of this world, false doctrines, abominations, unbelief of the word of God, hatred of our enemies which is spiritual murder, fornication and adultery, whore-mongering in believing the lies of the adversary and Babylon’s traditions of men, corruption of the word of God for filthy lucre sake, harlotry in departing from the commandments of God, idolatry in worshiping men and self and many lies that make up the abode of the natural man, all signified as the things the seven churches must repent from to receive the reward of the Spirit. All are things within our heart, the rest of our time that remains, which must decrease, which are ready to die and must die.

1Pe 4:2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

Rev 3:2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.

This second death is and will be accomplished by Jesus Christ within us, he that already died once, that death has no more dominion over him and cannot be hurt of his own ‘lake’ of fire or his own brimstone.

This overcomer is the earnest of the Spirit of Christ, the devouring, consuming earnest of the Fire, as a Lake, whose name is “the word of God”. He is now coming back a second time in the Spirit to revenge all the rest of the flesh, a most wrathful process of destruction to decrease and destroy all flesh within. This is the wrath of the Lamb being fulfilled within the heart of his Saints. This is the judgment upon sinful flesh – which wage is Death in the day of the Lord’s wrath. Being a partaker, having a part in the fire and the brimstone, which is the second death, is the means of the destruction of all flesh, first within us, a kind of first fruits. It is the means by which we are later qualified as an overcomer to receive the end of our faith, the salvation of our souls. The saints, we that believe, need not fear the fire and brimstone as carnal men do, because we are told what the Fire is and what the Brimstone is.

Isa 30:33 For Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep and large: the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream ofbrimstone, doth kindle it.

Isa 66:15 For, behold, the LORD [the overcomer] will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
Isa 66:16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh[within His Elect first, the lake of fire within them] and the slain of the LORD [from the second death] shall be many.

Zep 1:15 That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,
Zep 1:16 A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.
Zep 1:17 And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.
Zep 1:18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD’S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

Rev 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

Rev 1:14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
Rev 1:15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

Luk 12:49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?

Jesus Christ’s second coming without the body of sin in the Spirit is as a flame of fire, a white horse, a pale horse, to carry out the commandment of the Father and fulfill the Father’s will, first within His saints. His end purpose when He manifests in the flesh is this:

Heb 9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but NOW once in the end of the world hath HE [The risen Jesus Christ in you, the earnest of the Spirit of Christ in your heart presently] APPEARED [in flaming fire as the Spirit of truth, His word as fire… Jeremiah 5:14, 23:29] to put away sin by the sacrifice of HIMSELF!

1Jn 3:5 And ye know that he [the overcomer, HE APPEARED…] was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

This is why He is called Jesus Christ: To save us from our sins.

Mat 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: [Why the name Jesus?] for he shall save his people from their sins.

Act 3:26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

1Ti 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

At the appointed time, the Father will deal with the “rest of the dead” outside of His saints, the rest of all men, the world without which are those great multitudes following Christ today, (Orthodox Christianity) those with other religions and those that have no religious bone in them at present. But for now, we His Saints take heed unto ourselves, to remove the plank in our eyes and quit putting forth fingers to somebody else at someplace else in another time, but “keep all the prophecy written” in the book, without adding to it or subtracting wrath and second death from it.

1Ti 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

1Ti 4:10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men[through all this ONE EVENT of partaking all jots and tittles of the gospel, through the second death] specially of those that believe.

1Jn 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

1Jn 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God [the overcomer] was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

The works of the devil will be destroyed in the place the Son of God are manifest, where he will overcome evil, which place is:

1Jn 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
1Jn 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
1Jn 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

2Jn 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

2Co 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Col 1:26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
Col 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Jesus Christ the overcomer comes into the flesh of his Elect now in this age. He did not come to bring peace to the flesh, in you, but to conquer it and destroy it with death, through bringing righteous wrath upon it.

2Co 5:11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

Rev 6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

Rev 2:23 And I [Jesus Christ] will kill her children with death[…where?]  and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

Rev 6:4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

Rev 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

Anyone who denies the purpose of Christ coming in the flesh, to bring wrath upon it, and thus destroying the works of the devil, condemning sin in the flesh he comes into, through death, is a deceiver and this is that spirit of antichrist.

Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh; [how do you condemn sin in the flesh?] 

Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

The fleshly works are caused by the indwelling of the foolish, ignorant doctrines of the “many false prophets”, who are given their lies by the father of lies, the devil. Believing in the lies and doing after their works (Mat 23:3) is what imputes the image, mark and number of the beast upon us.

Psa 49:12 Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.

Psa 49:20 Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, [“many false prophets” and their followers] is like the beasts that perish.

Psa 73:22 So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.

Ecc 3:18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.

We are later told in the same book of Ecclesiastes why sons of men are beasts. What is in our hearts is the reason all will partake of the purifying event of the second death.

Ecc 9:3 This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heartwhile they live, […in the flesh]  and after that they go to the dead.

Rom 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
Rom 7:19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
Rom 7:20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Rom 7:21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

All sons of men are as a natural brute beasts which in due time will be caught and destroyed (2Pe 2:12). We are delivered and will be delivered from the nature of the beast powered by the devil through being cast into the second death.


Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, [which is the second death] where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death [“And the devil that deceived them wascast into the lake of fire and brimstone] he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

It is through being cast, delivered into the second death, the second deadly wound that is not healed, that the beast within us is troubled on every side, the suffering and dying of the beastly naturenow that will qualify the first fruits to reign with Christ in the ages to come.

2Co 4:8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
2Co 4:9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
2Co 4:10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
2Co 4:11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
2Co 4:12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.

Paul and John are inspired by that “one and selfsame Spirit”. While John uses the letter, the “second death”, it is the same spiritual event being conveyed to us. The “second death” is nothing more or less than “death worketh in us”, the destruction of “so great a death” “through death” that causes those it is working in to despair even of life now!

2Co 1:8 For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life:
2Co 1:9 But we had the sentence of death in ourselves[why?] that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:
2Co 1:10 Who delivered us from so great a death[was] and doth deliver: [is] in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us; [will be]

Death is working in us on one side; the side of suffering, affliction and the great tribulation into which all flesh within is cast. Partaking in the suffering / tribulation is how our flesh is as a burnt offering, signified as having a part in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, the second death. Let us examine very closely how we partake of this in this age as revealed by Rev 21:8.

Rev 21:8 But (1) the fearful, : Mar 4:40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?

2Co 7:5 For, when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side; without were fightings, within were fears.

and (2) unbelieving,

Mar 16:13 And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them.
Mar 16:14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed nothem which had seen him after he was risen.

Rom 11:30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
Rom 11:31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. [Mercy through the Lake of fire AFTER the Elect first goes through it and become part of the fire.]
Rom 11:32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all. [ through ‘partaking’ of the Lake of fire event in the next age]

And (3) the abominable,

1Pe 4:3 For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, andabominable idolatries:

And (4) murderers,

1Jn 3:15 Whosoever hateth his brother […who has the spirit of an enemy as Cain…] is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

1Ti 1:9 Knowing this, that the law [where God’s elects are first kept – Gal 3:23] is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

Who was a murderer?

Tit 3:3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

And (5) whoremongers,

Eph 5:5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God… Eph 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

1Co 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
1Co 6:10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
1Co 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed,[] but ye are sanctified, [] but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. [..all signified by John as through “second death”, Paul as “death worketh in us”]

and (6) sorcerers,

Act 8:9 But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:Act 8:10 To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.
Act 8:11 And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.

This is when we thought we were great ‘Christians’ bewitching others not to obey the truth and evangelizing with our lies about Christ, in strong delusion we were “saving” sinners, seducing the simple minded.

Gal 3:1 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?

and (7) idolaters, [re-read for whoremongers] This is having another Jesus, other gods, servants of men and the flesh, beside the one true God.

1Co 8:4 As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
1Co 8:5 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
1Co 8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. 1Co 8:7 Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol […such as the triune god – idol of the Trinity]…unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.

We have all been led with these dumb doctrines such as the trinity in our time.

1Co 12:2 Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols[carried away to Babyloneven as ye were led.

and (8) all liars, Can anyone deny of having done this?

1Jn 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

Rom 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

Psa 116:11 I said in my haste, All men are liars.

Knowing all men are liars, how can any man possibly think they will avoid or not have their part in the greatest grace God will manifest to all flesh? They certainly will have a part. They can live in a lie for the time being, but the Word of God says in due time those liars of selective/partial fulfillment of the Word of God …shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:which is the second death.

2Co 1:4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
2Co 1:5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us[“death worketh in us” “I die daily”] so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
2Co 1:6 And whether we be afflictedit is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.

The natural man will still think that the second death John mentioned is worse or a separate event to what Paul wrote as “death worketh in us”. This is another example of blindness by letter understanding. Once again, Paul, Peter, John, James and Jude and all the writers of Scripture are all of one mind inspired of one Spirit.

2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

They are all speaking the same thing from Genesis to Revelation, and not telling us one thing and then doing another. As we covered above, they are all speaking and writing only the things they saw.

1Co 1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

The Life of Jesus is manifesting in God’s elect today. Death is working and through that death, life aionian is coming forth, as we are told in this hidden manna:

Joh 15:2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit [… “the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars” Rev 21:8] he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. […unto the first resurrection]

Rom 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members asinstruments of righteousness unto God.]

Joh 15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the [lake of…] fire, and they are burned.

The end purpose of the burning is…

Joh 15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruitso shall ye be my disciples.

1Co 3:15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. [The lake of fire] 

Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life [“beareth not fruit”, “purgeth”…] was cast into the lake of fire.


This paper has focused primarily on the inner operation of God within his Elect in this age. It is not intended to look outward of you and I but rather the fulfillment of the Word of God, particularly the second death in this present age, with eyes looking fully within.

Rev 4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they [God’s Elect, Rev5: 8-9] rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.

Unlike the faith of men that picks up certain words, omits them and applies them to others, breaking up the Scripture thereby, the faith of Jesus Christ acknowledges that every word, jot, iota, dot / tittle has a place in us and must be fulfilled for the Scripture to come to pass. The great multitude that ‘believes’ in the Lord, does not know the Lord at all, because his word, such as wrath, indignation, lake of fire, second death etc., has no place in them.

Joh 8:37 I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.

Luk 21:22 For these be the days of vengeance, [why?] that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
Luk 21:23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
Luk 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentilesbe fulfilled.

Those that are Abraham’s seed in the flesh hath no place in them for “this that is written” to be fulfilled. The “wrath upon this people” is the people of God.

Psa 106:39 Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions. [Whore-mongers]
Psa 106:40 Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.

What that wrath produces is written earlier:

Luk 21:16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.

The end purpose of it all is…

Luk 21:18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish.
Luk 21:19 In your patience possess ye your souls.

The glory of Christ in you, the hair of your head, the overcomer, the truth and righteousness of Christ in your lives NOW shall not be hurt of the second death. Through the much wrath and vengeance of God upon the rest of the flesh left, we continue to be felled by the edge of the sword, which is the Word of God being fulfilled in us, and we are brought closer and closer to the day of our redemption, the possession of our souls.

Luk 21:28 And when these things [“wrath upon this people”, being “put to death”, the second death within] begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

When all things written are 100% fulfilled as was fulfilled in Christ, when the word of God has run its course in us and is glorified in us, we are then given the reward of the overcomer because Jesus Christ has conquered all flesh within us and overcome the world within us.

2Th 3:1 Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:

2Ti 4:6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

2Ti 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
2Ti 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

The crown of righteousness is part of the reward and the role that the Lord will give to the likes of Paul and all the elect that love his appearing. The judging of the rest of mankind who are yet to go through the process of judgment, wrath, second death will be given to them who have first been “faithful unto death”.

Rev 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Rom 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members asinstruments of

The whole process is then to be fulfilled in the great innumerable multitude, the remainder of mankind made up of the many called and uncalled, the world outside of God’s elect. This second death event will then be administered by those few elect redeemed by Jesus Christ from all four corners of the earth. They are now equal as to the angels of God, being the son of the first resurrection. The second death will have no power over them, for all sin and death have been overcome in them by the Lamb, and cannot die anymore, even as Jesus Christ himself. As Jesus Christ is, so are they His express image.

Luk 20:35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the [first] resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
Luk 20:36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

Heb 1:7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

Jer 5:14 Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.[They experience the second death too, it is the same consuming Fire of God that will burn all!]

Heb 12:29 For our God is a consuming fire.

2Th 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, [Sons of the resurrection, the elect of God who has now overcome sin and death themselves…]
2Th 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
2Th 1:9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

Psa 68:2 As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.

Job 1:16 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

Jer 23:29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

The Saints who are made overcomers through first having part of the second death are eventually made by Jesus Christ ministers of fire. Once freed from all sin, once all the lands within them have been conquered and possessed, they then become servants to God, workmanship for the Master’s use.

Heb 1:7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

There is only one end for Sin; there is only ONE death.

Rom 6:21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

Rom 6:22 But now being made free from sin, [by it coming to an end, “death”] and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

They will be administrators of the second death to “the rest of the dead”, who will later be given life, receiving mercy at the hand of those that first obtained the mercy of Jesus Christ himself. These are those many whose lands must be possessed too, as our lands were first possessed by Christ.

Jos 13:1 Now Joshua was old and stricken in years; and the LORD said unto him, Thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.[which are “the rest of the dead” first within His Saints, and then the outward dead world.]

Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Heb 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them [all sinners currently dead in Spirit…] who shall be heirs of salvation?

His angels will be (ad) MINISTERING all his pleasure. The destruction of the devil that delivers the power of death, and all his ministers of death inhabiting “the body of death” is via the lake of fire and brimstone. It is through the Spirit of Christ, the breath and consuming fire of our God and his elect being made “ministers a flame of fire” that the rest of the spiritually dead will be heirs to salvation.

Luk 3:6 And all flesh shall see the salvation of God. [Each flesh in its order, 1Co 15: 23]

The salvation of God will always be through fire.

1Co 3:15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. [The lake of fire]

Psa 103:20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
Psa 103:21 Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.


All that is written is happening in down payment form within us as we speak. As God’s elect, we must always see every word of God as having an application and fulfillment within our heart. It is Christ, the word of God, who is doing the work as an Ox within us. When we bear this in mind, Christ in you, then we will be walking worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, becoming fruitful in every good work in the knowledge of God. Every word has a place in those few chosen. It is the Spirit of Christ who is doing all overcoming and conquering within us, not of ourselves. It is the Spirit of Christ who is putting away sin by the sacrifice of his own sinful flesh made by the Father (Eph 5:30). It is all Christ in us, which is a great disappointment to the beast of free will.

Rev 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh [the Lamb, Rev 17:14 Spirit of Christ] shall not be hurt of the second death.

Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars[All in the flesh of Christ, the just for the unjust –1Pe 3:18 who his own self bare our sins in his own body] shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Yes, without Jesus Christ in us, we can do nothing. He is fulfilling every iota and dot of the above verses to eventually gather all men in Him. He created all things for his own use to his glory.

Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all thingswere created by him, [The Lake of fire/ second death event] and for him:
Col 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselvesit is the gift of God:
Eph 2:9 Not of works[of righteousness or unrighteousness we have done] lest any man should boast.

Joh 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

The Lord has began his mighty short work of fulfilling all Scripture within us, even though his great wrath is for a moment; the suffering, the casting down and destruction of death within us, He is ever present to comfort us through all our tribulations, and he will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness, all unto good.

2Co 4:17 For our light affliction, […indignation… wrath… second death… casting down… scourging… chastening…etc. all one and the same effect to the flesh] which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

Jas 4:14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

Rom 9:28 For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.

Php 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Those verses concerning the second death are part of all “the things written therein” which are “proceeding out of the mouth of God” as an integral part of the revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave to Him. These words are part of the “all things, things present and things to come… the world… death… all are ours” which Paul spoke of. He was speaking exactly the same thing as his brother in Christ, John.

1Co 3:21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;
1Co 3:22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, [Fulfillment of the second death in us now] or things to come[administration of the second death to the world later] all are yours.

Rev 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. […In your flesh to destroy and overcome the world in you. 2Jn 1:7]

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

May God continue to drag us to Himself, into His consuming fire. Amen. Even so, come into my heart Lord Jesus.
